IT Senior Analyst and Developer – Fund Accounting/Middle Office domain

You will be integrated into our IT Applications & Integration department, which is responsible for the support, maintenance and project work surrounding external business software packages, including their integration into our larger Information System.

In your role, you will be in charge of the management of core applications supporting the middle office and fund administration activities. You will also ensure their full integration in the Information System.

You will be required to

  • Acquire the necessary functional and technical knowledge to support the business applications for which you are in charge;
  • Ensure the proper performance of applications when supporting daily operations and executing technical processes;
  • Be part of IT support activities with a proactive approach to client servicing and to timely problem solving. You will coordinate and follow-up on support tickets and developments with the software suppliers;
  • Participate in IT on-call duty according to the constraints of the applications in your domain;
  • Manage updates and new releases, working hand-in-hand with the software supplier and with the IT infrastructure teams. You will identify and recommend technical solutions to respond to new requirements following a proactive, open and innovative approach. You are in charge of corrective and evolutionary maintenance;
  • Implement the developments requested by business projects or technical evolutions. You define unit tests, organize and participate in integration tests. You will ensure that developments are released to production in compliance with the defined change management procedures;
  • Lead internal meetings with your team members and project stakeholders.

Your profile

  • You enjoy IT software package implementation and are keen to participate actively in the realisation of projects;
  • You are a strongly solution-oriented;
  • You enjoy contact with users and have a good understanding of their work;
  • You have previous experiences or knowledge of the fund industry, asset management or banking;
  • You have an experience with core applications used in the middle office, asset servicing and fund accounting domains are, ideally NeoXam Global Portfolio, NeoXam Tracker, FIS Investran, Simcorp GAIN Data Management;
  • You are familiar with the Oracle PL-SQL language, Java development and .NET development in order to be able to implement communication interfaces between the core systems;
  • You have a master’s degree in computer science and at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role;
  • You are fluent in English;
  • You enjoy teamwork whilst being able to work independently.
